Navigating Between Studies within Ripple

Managing Multiple Studies

Ripple enables research teams to manage multiple studies within the same platform. The Select Study button allows users to quickly navigate between different studies.

1. Switching Between Studies

  • Click the Select Study button to access a dropdown list of studies.
  • Choose the desired study to switch views.

2. Study Access Requirements

  • A Site Admin or Site Manager must grant access to a study-level user for it to appear in their dropdown menu.
  • Without access, a user will not see the study in their list.

Viewing and Navigating Studies

Ripple allows users to easily switch between studies within the platform.

1. Identifying the Current Study

  • The study tab displays the name of the study you are currently viewing.
  • Example: If you are working in "Nerve Cohort 1", the tab will show this study name.

2. Switching Between Studies

  • Click on the study name in the tab.
  • A dropdown list of all studies you have permission to access will appear.
  • The list is organized alphabetically for easy navigation.
  • Select a study to switch to it instantly.

3. Study Access Permissions

  • Only studies that you have permission to view will appear in the dropdown list.
  • Site Admins or Site Managers must grant access to additional studies if needed.

Searching for Studies in the Dropdown List

If you have access to more than 10 studies, Ripple provides a search bar in the study dropdown list to help you quickly locate a specific study.

How to Use the Study Search Bar

  1. Click on the study name in the tab to open the dropdown list.
  2. If you have more than 10 studies, a search bar will appear at the top of the list.
  3. Begin typing the study name or keywords to filter the list.
  4. Click on the desired study to switch to it.

This feature improves navigation and makes it easier to manage multiple studies efficiently.
