Troubleshooting eConsent Survey Download Issues

If you are experiencing issues downloading your eConsent survey, this may occur when certain formatting requirements are not met within the survey design.

Please review the checklist below to ensure your survey is properly configured for download.

Required Configuration for eConsent Survey Downloads

To avoid download errors, confirm that your survey meets the following requirements:

1. Set Height for Visual Components

  • If a survey page contains an image along with an HTML question or a signature pad, each component must have a height specified in its Properties.

  • This ensures proper rendering and prevents layout errors during the download process.

TIP:  For best results, separate images from other components by placing them on individual pages.

2. Use Panels to Group Visual Elements

  • When combining images, HTML questions, or signature pads on the same page, group them inside a Panel.

  • Panels help manage layout behavior and improve compatibility with the download feature.

3. Adjust Date or Date-Time Field Size

  • If a Date or Date-Time question appears on the same page as an image, HTML question, or signature pad, set its Size property to 15.

4. Limit to One Image per Page

  • Whenever possible, limit each page to a single image to reduce rendering conflicts during export.
