Product Update Version 2.0.16 - Released 14-Aug-2024

This release addressed improvements to survey error messaging and functionality. For example, we've fixed a feature to ensure that participants receive automatic email confirmation upon eConsent countersignature completion. We've also added messaging that alerts you when an eConsent is missing key components. This makes using the product easier and can prevent incomplete eConsent surveys.

Survey Confirmation Emails

Previously, confirmation emails were not going out when eConsent surveys were completed. With this release, the notification emails now go out when a countersigned eConsent survey is submitted. This ensures that the participant receives a confirmation that they have officially consented to the study and includes a signed and countersigned copy of the eConsent survey.

Tooltip for [Missing Names] Error on eConsent Dashboard

On the Dashboard for eConsent tracking, there was an error that said "Missing Names" when no matching participant was found and the eConsent survey did not contain the required information to make a match. Previously, it was unclear how a Ripple user should handle this issue. With this release, we have added a tooltip next to the error that explains the cause and solution to that error.

The tooltip states: "No matching participant found and survey does not contain required fields for creating a new participant. (This could mean that some participant info, such as Global ID, was entered incorrectly)."

This allows you to communicate with the participant to collect a new eConsent form and what preventive or corrective actions they should take in reconsenting.

Tooltip for [Missing Emails] Error on eConsent Dashboard

When you click into a survey entry from the Dashboard to countersign, and there is no email address, there is now a tooltip at the top of the pop-up that states, "Missing email required to receive copy of eConsent Submission. (This could mean that no matching participant was found or that the participant does not have a preferred email)."  This provides you with more information to address the missing email.
