How to Disable a User Account in Ripple

While Ripple does not allow user accounts to be deleted, Site Admins can disable accounts to prevent future access and free up space for new users. Disabling an account effectively locks it, ensuring the user can no longer log in.

Steps to Disable a User Account

Only users with Site Admin permissions can perform this action. To disable a user account, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Site Admin Panel

  • From the top navigation bar, click the Site Admin tab (highlighted in red in the screenshot).

2. Access the Users Module

  • In the left-hand menu, select Users (highlighted in green).

3. Select the User to Disable

  • Click the name of the user whose account you wish to disable (highlighted in purple).

4. Lock the Account

  • Scroll to the bottom of the user’s profile card.

  • Click the “Lock Account” button (highlighted in black).

Once an account is locked, the user will no longer be able to access Ripple.
