Heading Overview

The Heading Element is used to add pre-sized text to email templates, helping to emphasize specific information. Here’s an overview:

Heading Levels

  • Four heading sizes: H1, H2, H3, and H4 (H1 is the largest, H4 the smallest).
  • Headings are larger than regular paragraph text and are ideal for drawing attention to key information.
 

Adding a Heading Element

  1. Navigate to the Content section of your email template.
  2. Click the Heading icon and drag it onto the email body.

Properties of the Heading Element

Customization Options

  • Heading Type: Select H1, H2, H3, or H4.
  • Font Family: Choose the font type.
  • Font Weight: Set as regular or bold.
  • Font Size: Adjust the size of the heading.
  • Color: Select a custom color for the text.
  • Text Alignment: Position text to the left, right, center, or justified.
  • Line Height: Adjust the vertical space between line

Smart Headings

  • AI-powered suggestions help rewrite the text for tone or clarity (red).
  • Options (green) to change the tone to friendly, professional, witty, etc..

Customizing Links in the Heading Element

Links in the heading element allow you to personalize hyperlinks for better integration into your email design:

  • Default Behavior:

    • Links inherit styling (e.g., color, underline) from the properties set in the Body section.
  • Customizing Links:

    • Toggle off the default styling to customize:
      • Color: Choose a unique hyperlink color.
      • Underline: Decide whether the hyperlink is underlined or not.

This feature ensures that links in headings match your desired design while maintaining functionality.

Customizing Padding for Headings

Padding helps you control the spacing between the heading's border and its content, creating a clean and organized layout.

  • Default Setting: No padding is applied by default.

  • Custom Padding:

    • Navigate to the General section.
    • Toggle the “More Options” (red) button to adjust padding for:
      • Top
      • Right
      • Left
      • Bottom
  • Purpose: Padding ensures proper spacing and separation, enhancing the overall readability and visual appeal of the heading.

This feature allows for precise spacing adjustments to match your design needs.

Responsive Design

  • Device-Specific Adjustments:

    • Customize headings separately for Desktop and Mobile views (red).
    • Mobile mode lacks certain styling options, such as heading type, font family, and font weight.

  • Hide Headings:

    • Toggle "Hide on Desktop" or "Hide on Mobile" (red) to make headings invisible on a specific device.
    • Hidden headings will appear faded in the email editor.
