Getting Started with Ripple Academy Training

Welcome to Ripple Science!

To ensure your team is fully prepared to configure studies, manage users, and oversee data within Ripple, we offer comprehensive onboarding through Ripple Academy, our self-guided training platform.

Who Should Complete Training?

The following users should complete Ripple Academy training:

  • Site Admins – Anyone responsible for configuring studies, managing workflows, or administering users.

  • Data Managers – Team members assisting with data migration or registry setup.

  • Other Key Users – Any staff involved in setting up or maintaining data integrity within Ripple.

Completing training ensures your team is equipped to use Ripple effectively and take full advantage of its capabilities.

When Should Training Be Completed?

Ripple Academy is self-paced, allowing your team to learn on a schedule that works best for them. Each module takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.

Ripple Gold Onboarding Requirement

All Site Admin users must complete all four Ripple Academy learning modules before attending your first onboarding session with your assigned Customer Success Manager. Completing these modules in advance ensures your team is prepared to configure your Ripple site and make the most of your onboarding experience.

Ripple Silver Training Guidance

Ripple Silver users can complete self-guided training directly through Ripple Academy. For additional support, refer to our Knowledge Base for detailed walkthroughs and instructions for each section of the Ripple platform.

If you encounter any issues or need clarification on a topic, our Help Desk is available to assist with in-depth questions and troubleshooting.

 

How to Begin Training

You can access Ripple Academy training directly via: academy.ripplescience.com
or from our main site at www.ripplescience.com

We recommend completing the following courses in this order:

  1. Ripple End-User Training
    (Get familiar with the Ripple interface and basic features)

  2. Ripple Site Set-Up Introduction Training
    (Learn how to configure your Ripple instance for your research workflows)

  3. Ripple Survey Training
    (Build and manage surveys within your studies)

  4. Importing Participant Data
    (Learn how to migrate and manage participant records)
