The Daily Digest Email is an automated summary sent to Ripple users to help them stay informed about activity within their studies. This feature consolidates key updates into a single email, reducing the need to log in frequently while keeping your team up to date.
What Is Included in the Daily Digest?
The Daily Digest Email includes a summary of the following activity for each study you are assigned to:

Tasks
- Tasks Due Today
- Tasks Due Tomorrow
- Tasks Overdue

Scheduled Events
- Events for Today
- Events for Tomorrow
- Events Need to be Scheduled
- Events Scheduled in the Past but need to be Updated

Overdue Tasks or Events
NOTE: The content of the digest is based on user permissions. You will only receive updates relevant to the studies and participants you have access to.
Who Receives the Daily Digest?
By default, all users in Ripple with an active account and access to at least one study will receive the Daily Digest Email. However, users can customize or opt out of these emails from their User Settings.
How to Manage Daily Digest Settings

Click “My Account” in the upper right.

Scroll down to the Studies, Role and Email Notifications section.

You can:

Choose to receive or opt out of the Daily Digest for each study.

Changes are saved automatically and will be reflected in the next daily cycle.
Troubleshooting
If you are not receiving the Daily Digest Email:

Check your Spam or Junk folder.

Ensure that your email address is correct in User Settings.

Verify that your email server is not blocking automated emails from Ripple.

Contact your site administrator or the Ripple Support Team if the issue persists.
Additional Notes

The Daily Digest is sent once per day, typically in the early morning hours based on your local time zone.

You must remain an active user in at least one study to continue receiving the digest.
