Benefits of Using Bulk Tasks
Bulk Tasks enable you to group commonly recurring tasks, eliminating the need to enter each task manually. Here's how it works:
- Navigate to Study Settings--->Bulk Tasks Tab.
- Create a Bulk Task Group: Assign a specific name to the group and add tasks to it.
- Use the Bulk Task Group: Wherever the “Add a Task” option is available, you can select your bulk task group from a list of all created tasks.
- Reorder Tasks: Use the double-ended arrows (as indicated by the red arrow in the screenshot) to rearrange tasks within the group.
This feature simplifies task management and ensures consistency across repeated workflows.

You can link bulk tasks to specific event triggers to streamline your workflow. For example:
- If every participant intake requires 5 tasks, such as booking a room and preparing intake folders, you can create a bulk task named "Intake – Scheduled Tasks" that includes these 5 tasks.
- Instead of manually adding the bulk task each time, you can link it to Event: Intake and Event Status: Scheduled.
- Now, whenever a participant intake is scheduled, the 5 tasks will be created automatically.
This automation saves time and ensures all required tasks are consistently generated for specific events.
